Who should get the MMR vaccine?
All Thai children should receive 2 doses when they are 12 - 15 months old and the second dose when they are 4 - 6 years old.

All women of childbearing age who have not had the disease and have not received this vaccine before. (Contraception should be used for at least 3 months after vaccination.)

Students who have never had this disease and haven't received this type of vaccine before and are going to study abroad, such as England, Canada, USA, should be injected subcutaneously 2 times, at least 1 month apart.

People with a history of vaccine allergies or neomycin, gelatin, severely

Immunocompromised people, such as those who have been taking steroids for a long time cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, radiation

Patients with full-blown HIV or severely immunocompromised (You can get vaccinated if your body is healthy)

After receiving the MMR vaccine, side effects may occur.
Because after vaccination, there may be pain, swelling, redness and heat at the injection site. Make a compress with a cold towel. 6-12 days after vaccination, fever, rash, and enlarged lymph nodes may occur, which are usually mild and resolve within 2-3 days. Joint pain is common in adults. But can heal by itself in 1-3 weeks, but if receiving the vaccine and having severe side effects, should hurry to see a doctor immediately
