Piriformis syndrome is a deep pain in the butt cheeks and a fractured numbness in the legs caused by a group of muscles in the hips deeply tied, tense or contracted by heavy muscle use and bumps in the buttocks, causing the muscles to press against and clamp down on the Sciatic nerve that passes under the deeply tied hip muscles, also known as "Pirifomis", which causes Piriformis syndrome or hip muscle disease to clamp over the nerves. The symptoms of this disease are similar to low back pain, Lumbar radiculopathy or Trochanteric Bursitis, for example, which, if we have pain in the buttocks, hips and fractures in the legs, may need to be thoroughly diagnosed by a medical professional to find the symptoms of the disease.
