A medium to strong massage with palm & thumbs pressure is applied for relieving tensions in the upper and lower back muscles, shoulder and neck area. Guests usually face down while having massage.

A medium to strong massage with thumb and palm pressures to improve blood circulation and relieve muscle tension & stiffness. It is a combined Yoga massage (stretching & bending), based upon ancient Ayurvedic principles brought to Thailand by King Rama III and inscribed in Bangkok's famous Wat Pho temple. (Two-hours-session is recommended) 

No oil is used and a two-piece outfit is worn (Thai "Parn" shirt with Fisherman pant). Menthol-based lotion is sometimes used for aching muscles.

A medium to strong oil massage with long palm strokes & thumb pressures are applied against deeper muscles to relax the body. Then two herbal compresses are steamed before applying against the whole body and thea aching area. After it gets cool, another compress is switched to sustain the warm relaxing experience, improve blood circulation, and alleviate muscle tensions.
Herbal Compress: Lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, zingiber cassumunar (Phlai), turmeric (kamin), galanca, tamarind leaves, rock salt, camphor, sompoi leaves, and many more.

The massage affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being as well as increasing the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. It also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves themselves at the same time.
