About This Service
This is a diabetes screening to assess chronic complications. People with long-term diabetes often develop complications such as vision problems, kidney failure, heart disease, paralysis, numbness, and ulcers, particularly in the feet.
Target Group for the Screening:
- Diabetes patients
- Individuals with obesity (Body Mass Index over 25 kg/m²)
- People with a history of prediabetes, i.e., fasting blood sugar levels of 100-125 mg/dL, or average HbA1c between 5.7-6.4%
- People with high blood pressure or high cholesterol levels
Examination List:
1. Physical Examination by a Specialist
2. Fasting Blood Sugar
3. LDL Cholesterol (Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol)
4. HbA1c (Glycated Hemoglobin for Diabetes Control)
5. Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) for Arterial Stiffness Measurement
