Post-Infection Vaccination: Individuals recovering from dengue fever are advised to commence vaccination at least six months post-recovery to optimize immunity development.

 

Contraindications:

Due to its live attenuated nature, the vaccine is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women, individuals with compromised immune systems, or those receiving immunosuppressive therapy. Additionally, individuals with symptomatic or asymptomatic HIV with a CD4 level <200 should not receive the vaccine.
