Vol 3% Peroxide is the lowest concentration used to dye hair. If your hair color is natural, this can lighten your hair by one or two levels. But if your hair is permanently dyed black,  this intensity might not be as effective.

Vol 6% Peroxide is the most standard concentration used for self bleaching. It can lighten your hair by 2 to 3 levels, which can change your hair blond. However, if you have very dark hair, it may require bleaching more than two times. This intensity is best if you have fine, thin hair.

Vol 9% Peroxide  can cause most people to feel scalp irritation and a risk of hair loss if it is left too long. However, it can lighten your hair by 3 to 4 levels. Therefore, if you want a quick blonde color and don't want to bleach multiple times, Vol 9% Peroxide is your best choice.

Vol 12% Peroxide is one of the most intense hair bleaching volume. You shouldn't use this bleach near your skin as it might burn your scalp. It is recommended that you do not use this concentrated bleach at home, as it can be unsafe for your hair and skin.
