About This Service
This is a diabetes test to assess chronic complications, as patients with diabetes for many years often experience chronic complications such as vision problems, kidney failure, heart disease, paralysis, numbness in the legs, and especially foot ulcers.
Groups suitable for testing:
- Diabetic patients
- Overweight individuals (Body Mass Index of 25 kg/m² or higher)
- Individuals with a history of prediabetes, defined as having a fasting blood sugar
- level (after 8 hours of fasting) between 100-125 mg/dL or an average blood sugar
- level between 5.7-6.4%
- Individuals with high blood pressure or high blood lipid levels
