Note:
- If you choose to have a consultation before the procedure, an additional fee of 1,000-1,500 THB will be charged.
Information about the Cervical Cancer Screening Package
- The service duration is approximately 15 minutes.
- Appointments should be scheduled in advance.
- Collect the initial stream of urine in a sterile container with a volume of at least 15-30 milliliters.
- Submit the sample to hospital staff for laboratory testing.
- The results will be available in approximately 2-3 days.
- "Undetected" result: No HPV found, indicating very low risk, but regular annual screenings are recommended.
- "Detected" result: HPV found, regular screening such as Pap Smear is recommended (HPV detection does not necessarily mean cervical cancer).
Preparation Before the Service
- Refrain from sexual intercourse 48 hours before the test.
- Do not use vaginal suppositories, creams, or spermicides 48 hours before the test.
- Do not undergo any internal examinations within 24 hours before the test.
- Avoid douching before the test.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing for convenience during the test, ideally a two-piece outfit and not a full-body undergarment.
- Avoid scheduling the test during menstruation. It is best to have the test at least 7 days before or after your period ends.
