Things to know about the package
IncontiLase Urinary Incontinence
It is a treatment with a denser laser that helps increase the flexibility of the vaginal muscles, allowing the problematic urethra to return to normal use, improving urine retention, reducing frequent trips to the bathroom, and reducing urine leakage while coughing or sneezing.
Preparation before treatment
• You should get a cervical cancer screening (Thin Pap Smear) before the treatment.
• Treatment should be done before menstruation or 1 week after the last day of menstruation.
Treatment
You will feel slightly warm or hot, which the doctor will closely monitor. The treatment results depend on the level of the original laxity. It is recommended to receive treatment 2-3 times, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. You will feel that your vagina is tightening, both in the lining and the outer wall. The immediate results are due to the heat from the laser. The new collagen will gradually improve and the results will be clear in 2 weeks.
After treatment
• No wounds, no bleeding, no vaginal discharge
• Sometimes there may be clear mucus as a reaction. You should use a pad to absorb it.
• Abstain from sexual intercourse for at least 1 week after treatment.
• Avoid hot water baths, swimming, saunas, and onsen for 24 hours.
Self-care after treatment
