A keloid scar is a convex scar that expands outside the original palladium caused by a skin injury. Ear cheloids are more common after ear piercings. The ear piercing may look like a small incision, but abnormally large fibrosis tissue can be enlarged and then formed into keloids. At the beginning, it may be just a strength around the ear piercing area and then gradually expanding in size, and most of the time it takes to enlarge takes several months after the ear piercing.
