Chin filler is a nonsurgical option for chin augmentation and jawline enhancement. An alternative to permanent chin implant surgery, temporary dermal fillers can be injected into the soft tissue under the skin in order to give a weak chin more definition, balance facial features, restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, or fill in a cleft. Filler can also create more definition between the face and neck, to reduce the look of a double chin or even make a chin look more narrow. First, your provider will examine your facial features and discuss your overall aesthetic goals. They’ll determine how many syringes you’ll need to achieve your goals as well as advise on which specific type of injectable filler they intend to use. This is a good time to ask how much your entire treatment will cost, to avoid a surprise. Most providers will start out with a conservative amount of product, especially if this is your first time getting chin filler. They’ll cleanse your skin and may apply a numbing cream.
